We just discovered that the sister of the infamous Wayans Family (that is Damon, Marlon, Keenan, and Shawn just to name a few) Diedra Wayans, has been filming a reality show for television and we hear that the focus is based on comedy. What made this story stand out to us is that the reality show is focused on the women of comedy, and how their careers are unfolding as they chase their dreams of becoming a stand-up comic.

The show titled The Ladies Laughing Out Loud, which is being filmed in Atlanta, focuses on five comedians and goes behind the scenes of each individual and diagnoses what makes each comic tick. The comedians being featured are Kiana Dancie, Chaunte Wayans, Reggie, Robin Ann, and Dirty South and explores their stage time and unlike other reality shows it doesnt throw the stars of the show in difficult positions to see what would happen for the audience, it just films the comedians as they grace the stage and the drama enfolds as they all struggle as female comedians ina male dominated field.   …read more
